<p>If you are using a brand name birth control method instead of its generic version, this could be the reason. Just switch to the generic version and you should get it without out-of-pocket costs. If that's not the case, you can contact the National Women's Law Center (NWLC) and get their <a href="http://www.nwlc.org/resource/getting-coverage-you-deserve-what-do-if-yo… the Coverage You Deserve" toolkit</a>. It will help you figure out if you've been wrongfully charged for birth control and how to appeal it. The toolkit even includes sample letters to make your case.</p>
