Control. Focus. Skill. Guy Nottadadi is here to explain why “pulling out” can be tricky.
Some birth control methods are ancient, and long before there were condoms
there was the withdrawal method, or as it's known on the street,
pulling out. But this method takes extreme
focus. And it's based on a very simple
idea: if you don't want a baby, no baby batter inside the baby maker.
Capiche?
Slow down, big guy. It's not as easy as it sounds. For it to be effective,
you gotta have some serious skill.
Why do you think one in five couples using the method get pregnant within
a year?
Not only do you have to be really in tune with your body to know when it's
time to withdraw,
but you also need self control to do it. Not in a minute, but
right that instant. Now it's a skill,
so you might get better with practice. But in the meantime
you can end up with a pregnancy to show for all your hard work. We're good right?
You're close enough to get the hand?
Withdrawal doesn't protect you from sexually transmitted infections either.
So if this is the method you choose, make damn sure your partner is comfortable
with the risk.
You might wanna have some emergency contraception around because everybody
can use a good safety net.
So from one guy to another,
if the idea of having a baby scares you right now, you should probably consider a more
reliable method. If you're absolutely sure of using the withdrawal method, make sure
you do it right.
So I told you the options. The rest is up to you. Do you guys want this chair?
