Word on the street is that some of you out there don't know what an IUD is.

Put simply, it's a form of birth control that goes inside the uterus.

It's pretty damn sweet. There are a few kinds of IUDs available in the US:

Ones with hormones, and ones without.

IUDs are t-shaped, and are smaller than an iPod shuffle

and more than 99 percent effective at preventing pregnancy.

Basically, it works by messing with the sperm,

confusing them, and making it hard for them to reach her eggs and get her pregnant.

IUDs can last between three and 12 years, depending on what kind she gets.

12 years? Yeah, 12 years.

But if the two of you decide to get any baby-making any sooner, you can take the

IUD out anytime, and get pregnant right away. Now I just broke down a really stellar

method of birth control for you guys, and

I just rebuilt this engine from scratch.

Trust me guys, the better you know the mechanics... well, you get the idea.
