Description

Racism, injustice, and inequality have been on full, ugly display over the past several months. The murders of countless black Americans, including, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, and the disproportionate COVID-19 death rates for people of color, have served to underscore this sad truth.

The Right Time initiative condemns in the strongest terms the racism, injustice, and inequities that have energized people nationwide to call for profound changes in society and systems.

Significant inequitable health outcomes exist in the United States. The Right Time remains committed to removing the barriers that keep too many Missouri residents, particularly those in communities of color, from receiving quality contraceptive services. One way we improve access for all—no matter who you are, where you live, or what your economic circumstances might be—is by offering free or low-cost birth control to all those who need it.
